ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This project was inspired by my love of nature and visiting national parks. Over the years I have witnessed a need for getting out information to visitors that covers safety rules and etiquette for visiting a trail and thus this project was born.

PROCESS: After researching advice from Subject Matter Experts, I decided on what the overall intended learning objective was for this project. I narrowed the information down to the absolute necessities and from there I sketched out a storyboard. With the storyboard I worked through different interactions as well as how to communicate the necessary information clearly and concisely. A color palette and art style was decided and I manipulated the characters and icons in Illustrator to create cohesiveness across the project.
